Tongariro Crossing Shuttles
We are now offering Free Parking and shuttle services right from our carpark. If you haven’t already booked your shuttle before you arrive. Just park in our complimentary day-carpark at least 30 minutes before the shuttle departure time, come in and book your shuttle, the shuttle pick up is right outside, and at the end of your hike you will be picked up and dropped back to The Alpine Centre., and your vehicle.
RETURN SHUTTLE TRANSPORT – $40 (Available from Mid October to End April)
Shuttles Depart: Daily 6am, 7am, 8am, 9am, 10am
Return Pick up Times: 1:30pm, 2:30pm, 3:30pm, 4:30pm, 5:30pm
Tongariro Alpine Crossing Track Transport leaves daily, weather permitting. With 5 Departure at pick up times, there is plenty of times for all hikers fitness levels. For Most hikers it will take between 6 – 9 hours allowing for time for photos and stops.

NOTE: In winter (May – October)
The Tongariro Alpine Crossing is recommended with an experienced guide,. Guiding companies will provide all the equipment along with crampons and an ice axe, talk to us instore to help you arrange this and to experience a true alpine winter adventure.
